Overview of Na’vi River Journey in Animal Kingdom
This is a very calm and slow ride through the bioluminescent rainforest on the planet of Pandora. You’re searching for the Na’vi Shaman of Songs. It’s a pleasant ride with a mystical theme based on the movie. You eventually encounter the almost 10 foot tall audio-animatronic Shaman who is as realistic an animatronic as you get!
Queue and ride car information for Na’vi River Journey
The queue begins outdoors and winds into a covered area, and then inside with air conditioning. The inside passages may seem somewhat close to those who are sensitive. There’s plenty of room for wheelchairs or ECVs to maneuver.
The ride car is an 8-passenger boat with two rows of seats. The seats have backs. If you don’t fill the row, a stranger might be placed in your row. You must step down into the boat. It’s a pretty deep downward step.
Wheelchair/ECV and accessibility information: Wheelchair and ECV riders use the main queue. If you can park and walk a few steps you’ll board in the regular loading area and a Cast Member will move your wheelchair/ECV to the unload area. If you need to get close to the boat to board, you can request to board in the unload area. Let a Cast Member know. You’ll be able to ride up to the side of the boat. There is a stair/transfer device that you can request. Also, if needed, you can use the seat as a step.

Additional details about Na’vi River Journey
You pass by various creatures and there’s a lot of creature sounds in the forest. There are various light effects such as water reflections and a brightly lit spinning creature.
