Disney has put this new program in place along with Early Theme Park Entry. We’ll go over all you need to know.
What is Disney World Extended Evening Hours?
Certain guests are allowed to participate in extended evening hours on select evenings, in select theme parks.
Currently the parks included in this program are Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Currently this is not available every day.

To date, when a park has Extended Evening Hours, Disney has been keeping the park open an additional 2 hours. Of course, this is all subject to change at any time.
Who can participate in Extended Evening Hours in the Disney World parks?
Only guests staying in the following types of resorts can enjoy the extended evening hours. :
- Disney Deluxe Resorts
- Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts
- and a small number of other select resorts

- Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
- Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Jambo House
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s BoardWalk Villas
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows

How will Disney Know if you qualify for the Extended Evening Hours?
Of course, Disney requires valid theme park admission. If you have a Park Hopper and hop to the park with the Extended Evening Hours, you qualify. They will use either your MagicBand, Key to the World Card or Disney MagicMobile pass to verify your information.
