There’s a new show at Disney World for the Holiday Season!
There’s something new at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the holiday season. Starting November 14th and running through December 31st, Disney World will be starting a new holiday show that will include some of their very cool projections on the Chinese Theater, special effects and fireworks. It will all be set to seasonal music.
The show will be led by characters from the Disney animated special “Prep & Landing”. They’re named Wayne and Lanny. It will feature holiday moments from Disney films like:
- Mickey’s Christmas Carol
- Beauty and the Beast
- Pluto’s Christmas Tree
- Bambi
- Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”
Disney World Holiday Dessert Party
If you’re looking for some sweet treats you can book the Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! Holiday Dessert Party. It gives you reserved viewing, as well as lots of desserts and specialty drinks. You’ll also get 3D HololSpex® glasses to use during the show, so that’s got to mean that you’ll see something that the other guests don’t get to see. Disney says that these glasses “create spectacular holographic illusions of gingerbread men, candy canes, snowflakes and ornaments on any bright point of light.”

Personally I really enjoy when Disney does something new, because we go so often. It’s always fun to see something we haven’t seen before. And with the removal of the Osborne Festival of Lights, Hollywood Studios really needed something new. What do you think? Are you going to check this out?
