Are you planning a trip to Walt Disney World with 5 or more people in your party? Many of the resort rooms in the Disney World resorts are designed for 4 people plus a child under 3 years old, but there are many good options designed for 5 or more guests. We’ll give you details on those below.
Another option is to request two connecting or adjoining rooms. Connecting rooms have inside doors that open two rooms side by side rooms to each other. Adjoining rooms are next to each other, but don’t have inside connecting doors. Compared to some options, connecting or adjoining rooms can be a less expensive choice, and allow for some privacy.
We’ve been told by Disney that if you have 1-2 adults, and any number of children from 3-17 years old, as long as you’re all from the same household address, they’ll guarantee connecting rooms. We asked if it was permitted to allow the kids to stay in one room and the adults in the other, and they said it was.
If you prefer one room or suite, Disney offers many options. Keep in mind that the amount of space and the type of beds included will be different from resort to resort, and some resorts have multiple options within them. We’ll fill you in on those.
So here are the options for Disney’s resorts (plus the Swan and Dolphin) that have rooms that are made to hold at least 5 guests, plus a child under 3 years old in a crib.
