The Walt Disney World Special Diets Team will help you if you need it!
Do you have special dietary needs? As you begin planning your trip to Disney World, you may want to contact the Special Dietary Request Department. They can give you helpful information, and they can even help you make decisions about where to eat in order to get your needs met.
Though it’s generally not required to contact them, Disney does suggest that you contact them if you have:
- Multiple allergies and intolerance’s (4 or more)
- Multiple guests with allergies within your group
- Metabolic disorders
- Allergies or intolerances that are not one of the top 8 allergens
- Phenylketonuria (PKU)
Under the above circumstances, Disney recommends contacting the Special Diets Team after you’ve booked your dining arrangements and at least 14 days prior to your arrival.
Contact them either by phone or email:
The Special Dietary Requests Department | |
Phone | (407) 824-5967 (option 3) |
Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com |
They are available 9 am to 5 pm Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 5 pm Saturday’s and Sunday’s.
If you call, you may need to leave them a message and they’ll return your call. If you email them, they’ll email you back with detailed information. When you email them, include your dietary restrictions.
Disney World Guest Allergy Dietary Request Forms
If needed, they’ll send you a Guest Allergy Dietary Request form that you can complete and send back. This is used only for guests with 4 or more allergies or some metabolic conditions. It asks you details such as your dining reservation numbers, allergies and intolerance’s, foods you can and can’t eat, and the number of people in your party.
Although filling out this form is not required, it’s just one more step that you can take to assure that your needs are met.
Other info from Disney’s Special Diets Team
In addition to the above, the Special Diets Team can send you additional information that supports your special dietary needs. They may provide details on the special products you can find in some of the Disney World restaurants including:
- The restaurants that can provide them.
- The brands being used.
- Ingredients used in particular items
- The actual specialty products suitable for guests with various allergies or sensitivities including gluten, wheat, soy, shellfish, lactose, dairy, fish, egg, corn, peanut or tree nut allergies.
If you still have questions that are not answered in the literature that they send you, call them.
